We attended the Something I Can Feel exhibit curated by Dwight White II. The red carpet event was both a gala and exhibition celebrating the work of local artists. The exhibit’s theme, Facing the Future – Together, contained art of a variety of mediums, each piece depicting the artist’s interpretation of the joys, sorrows, melancholies, and delights within the Black diaspora. The multidisciplinary forms of art celebrated and elevated in every way.
The event took place downtown at The Shops at North Bridge. Several hundred guests roamed the lofty space while enjoying a variety of hors d’oeuvres and beverages, including The Iris Collection by Black-owned Michael Lavelle Wines.
