Led by Femi Awesu, the Blck Solstice Fashion Experience showcases emerging fashion designers with a focus on “Black culture and creativity.” The designs ranged from street wear, to formal, to swimwear. DJ Just.One kept the runway energetic with the models engaging in some creative walks and short performances down the runway–there was even a dance routine for one set.
Alongside admiring the latest fashion designs, guests enjoyed music, food, and drinks. As one of this year’s sponsors, Grey Goose based drinks flowed at the bar. Other sponsors included Black Beauty Collective and Clarity Fashion and Beauty.
